Bellocchio's Marchionne thriller shoots in Toronto, with Rai handling sales

Marco Bellocchio's financial thriller Falcon, inspired by the life of the late Fiat-Chrysler executive Sergio Marchionne, is filming in Toronto, and Rai Cinema International Distribution has boarded sales on it.

Pierfrancesco Favino, previously announced as the lead, is joined by Louis Garrel, Benedetta Cimatti and Barbara Ronchi. An Italian director's film about an Italian car executive, shot in Canada, is a neat mirror of how thoroughly North American the Fiat-Chrysler story became.
