A Chris Marker documentary narrated by Charlotte Rampling finds a sales home

Lightdox has acquired international sales rights to Nostalgia for the Future, a documentary heading into Film Fest Gent in Belgium, where it screens Sunday. Narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Charlotte Rampling, the film examines the filmmaker Chris Marker (1921–2012), whom Deadline describes as one of the most influential figures in the history of cinema. A portrait that pairs 'enigmatic' with 'most influential' is its own kind of provocation: the appeal may be the elusiveness.
