Peter Farrelly's 'I Play Rocky' takes the top audience prize at VIFF

Peter Farrelly's film about the making of *Rocky* — the underdog story of how Sylvester Stallone got the movie made and ended up starring in it — has won the Audience Award in the Galas & Special Presentations category at the 2026 Vancouver International Film Festival. It was one of ten titles audiences picked as favourites across the festival's programming.
