'Prisoner 951' BAFTA Winner Narges Rashidi Signs With TFC Management

Narges Rashidi, who recently won the BAFTA for Leading Actress for her portrayal of Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe in the BBC's Prisoner 951, has signed with TFC Management, Deadline reports. The series, directed by Phillipa Lowthorpe and also starring Joseph Fiennes, is described by Deadline as telling the true story of Zaghari Ratcliffe's wrongful seven-year imprisonment in Iran. An agency signing is normally the least interesting sentence a trade outlet can print. Here the award behind it is the heavier fact: a leading performance built on a real imprisonment, in a drama that braided a family's ordeal into television.
