Indian Drama 'Kidney' Picks Up a Co-Producer Before Its Tallinn Competition Slot

"Kidney," the second feature from filmmaking siblings Aakarsh and Agrim Sansanwal, has been boarded by Shiladitya Bora's Platoon One Films, which joins as co-producer ahead of the film's slot in the Critics' Picks Competition at Estonia's Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF). The producer is Enfant Terrible Productions, a Mumbai outfit.

A co-production deal landing before a festival premiere suggests the slot is being treated as a launchpad rather than a footnote — the kind of timing that matters more to a film's next few months than to its credits.
