Sony Is in Talks for a 'Battlefield' Movie, With McQuarrie and Jordan Attached

Sony is in talks to land a film adaptation of Electronic Arts' "Battlefield," Variety reports, after a multi-studio bidding war for the project.

Christopher McQuarrie is attached to write, direct and produce; Michael B. Jordan is attached to produce. Sony declined to comment on the negotiations, so the reporting gives a studio close to a deal, a set of attachments, and not yet a green light.
