Retatrutide's Top Dose Averaged a 25 Percent Weight Loss at 80 Weeks
Ars Technica reports late-stage trial data for retatrutide, the obesity drug expected to be the most powerful formula yet. Patients with obesity on the highest dose lost an average of 25 percent of their body weight after 80 weeks, and an average of 30 percent after an extension period to 104 weeks. The trial began in 2023 and included 2,339 participants from 131 clinical trial sites in 11 countries. The number most likely to travel is an average taken at the top dose — a category that says how the group fared, not how any individual did.
