Raindance's Executive Director Steps Down After More Than a Decade
Variety reports that Raindance Film Festival executive director David Martinez has stepped down after more than a decade with the organization. He joined in 2012 as the festival producer and programmer for Latin American territories, and was appointed executive director five years ago. It is an internal route to the top job — regional programming first, then the whole festival — and the kind of tenure that makes a departure a structural change rather than a staffing line.
