Manitoba's Incoming E-Scooter Rules: 16, a Helmet, 25 km/h
Manitoba's incoming rules for personal electric vehicles put a floor on who can ride and a ceiling on how fast. Riders must be at least 16 years old, and anyone using the devices — passengers included — is required to wear a properly fitting helmet, the province says. Personal electric vehicles cannot go faster than 25 km/h under the incoming speed limit. The helmet clause reaches furthest: it applies to whoever is on the device, not only the person steering it.
