CNN Says It Was Left Off Air Force One for a Football Saturday

PBS NewsHour reports CNN says it was left off Air Force One for President Trump's Saturday trip to a college football game. CNN, a member of the U.S. network video pool that rotates duties shooting and sharing video coverage of the president, reported it had been scheduled to fly aboard the plane for the visit. The pool arrangement is what gives the scheduling decision weight: coverage is shot and shared collectively, so who actually travels shapes what the rest of the press corps gets to see.
