Camp Mystic's Owners Want to Sell the Riverfront Property in Bankruptcy
The owners of Camp Mystic have proposed selling the riverfront property through bankruptcy, PBS NewsHour reports. The plan holds out the hope that a buyer will preserve the camp's self-described historic mission: it is a century-old private Christian camp for girls. Twenty-seven campers and counselors died there in a 2025 flood.
