Cornell Rape Case Reopened, and a Lawsuit Against Seven Fraternity Members
New York prosecutors are reopening an investigation into an alleged rape at Cornell University in 2024, NPR reports. The alleged victim has recently filed a lawsuit against seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity. The alleged assault is now the subject of two parallel proceedings: a criminal inquiry reopened by prosecutors, and a civil suit brought by the alleged victim against named individuals.
