A Convenience Store That Floated on Lake Ontario

Global Convenience looked like a corner shop and sat where no corner shop can sit. The art installation, which mimics a real-life convenience store, floated on Lake Ontario — visible from Harbour Square Park on Toronto's waterfront, as CBC notes for anyone who was there this summer. It picked up the nickname the "Inconvenience Store," which does most of the joke's work on its own. Torontonians gathered to pay their respects to what CBC calls the unexpected attraction of the summer.
