A Canadian Buoy Crossed the Atlantic and Washed Up on an Irish Island

Officials in northwestern Ireland say they're working to recover a large Canadian buoy that floated across the Atlantic Ocean and washed up on a coastal island. A buoy is built to stay put, which is what makes a transatlantic one interesting: whatever it was marking, it isn't marking it now, and its landfall is thousands of kilometres from home.
