The Scream poster that left Henry Winkler's name off

Henry Winkler, the Happy Days star, played Principal Arthur Himbry in the original Scream, the film that went on to become one of horror's most successful franchises. Variety reports that learning his name would not be used on the poster wasn't one of his happier days — while his character's entrance drew applause during screen tests. Screen-test applause and a poster credit measure different things: one is a room's reaction on the night, the other a marketing judgment about what belongs on a wall.
