Skydance's New Film Chiefs Say Paramount and Warner Bros. Keep Their Own Slates
One day after the Paramount–Warner Bros. merger formally closed, the co-chairs Skydance has installed atop its Motion Picture Group, Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein, outlined their immediate plans for the film division. According to Variety, they pledged that both Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures will keep building and releasing their own slates of films. It is a promise about output and identity rather than a strategy memo: two storied labels continuing to operate as labels under one corporate parent. Whether that survives contact with a combined budget is the open question the pledge invites.
