MUBI Releases a Trailer and a Theatrical Plan for Nuisance Bear

MUBI released a trailer for Nuisance Bear and announced the theatrical release plan for the documentary, Deadline reports. It is directed and filmed by Jack Weisman and Gabriela Osio Vanden. The credentials arrive ahead of the film itself: an award at Sundance, five Critics Choice Documentary Awards nominations, and praise from Werner Herzog. That is the familiar package for a nonfiction film trying to earn a cinema slot rather than a streaming thumbnail, and it says something about how documentaries travel now — the festival run is not merely a launch, it is the argument for the release. A trailer can sell mood; this announcement is selling a reception.
