Johnny Depp Plays the Mysterious Yacht Guest in 'Day Drinker'

Lionsgate has released a trailer for *Day Drinker*, a thriller directed by Marc Webb and starring Johnny Depp, Madelyn Cline and Penélope Cruz, Variety reports. Cline's character is a private-yacht bartender who meets a mysterious guest — Depp, whom the trade paper's phrasing places in extra-weird mode. The film is scheduled for theaters on March 26, 2027. A bartender with a captive audience and a guest with something to hide is a loaded arrangement; what matters is whether the film does anything with it beyond casting.
