Jerry Golod, Producer of 'Tales From the Darkside,' Dies at 87

Jerry Golod, the producer of the horror series “Tales From the Darkside,” died at his home in Rancho Mirage, California, on Wednesday after a brief battle with cancer, Variety reports. He was 87. Earlier in his career Golod worked as an executive at CBS and NBC; in the early 1980s he launched his own shop, JayGee Productions.
