Austin Film Festival Turns 33 With 97 Films From 24 Countries
Austin Film Festival has revealed the full lineup for its 33rd annual edition, running Oct. 29 to Nov. 5: 97 films from 24 countries, four days of Writers Conference programming, and the filmmakers, actors and writers expected to attend. Variety lists Jesse Eisenberg's "The Debut," starring Julianne Moore, among the announced titles.
The shape of the thing matters more than any single title. A festival that gives four days over to screenwriting is insisting that the interesting question about a film is not only what got made but how someone got it onto the page first.
