An Occupied Kherson Town Has Been Cut Off From Food Since May
Food supplies to the town of Oleshky, in the occupied part of Ukraine's southern Kherson region, have been cut off since May, Deutsche Welle reports. Efforts by Kyiv to negotiate the evacuation of civilians with Moscow have been largely unsuccessful. The two facts sit badly together: the town's supply route stopped months ago, and the diplomatic route to getting people out has not produced a corridor.
