A Stanford Biology Lab, Filed Under Star Wars Locations

Star Wars has taken audiences to Tatooine, Naboo and, in Variety's framing, now to a campus biology lab at Stanford University. The film making that claim is The Love Hypothesis, which premiered on Amazon Prime on Sept 23, with Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman as romantic interests caught in a fake-dating-turned-real-love plot. The location comparison is the amusing part: a rom-com's lab bench is not a desert planet, and the franchise's list of iconic places apparently keeps room for it anyway. Whether a biology lab deserves the same billing as Tatooine is a matter of taste.
