A Fred Astaire Biopic Finds Its Dance Partners

Tom Holland's Fred Astaire biopic has found its dance partners. Variety reports Margaret Qualley and Sabrina Carpenter are joining the Sony Pictures film, in which Holland plays Astaire, with Paul King directing and Amy Pascal producing. Qualley is a Golden Globe nominee for Maid and The Substance; the film is still untitled. Two co-leads for one lead role suggests a movie built around partnership, or at least a studio that knows a dance biopic needs more than one pair of feet.
