A shark makes a rare, prolonged visit to Nova Scotia's Bedford Basin

It has been a long time since swimming was encouraged in the Bedford Basin, but on Friday night a shark made what CBC describes as a prolonged — and very rare — visit to the water there. A rare visitor in a basin nobody is told to swim in is a tidy reminder that a waterway's condition and its safety for swimmers are two different questions.
