A Beirut Cinema Platform and a French Festival Run a Fifth Incubator

France's Montpellier Mediterranean Film Festival, known as Cinemed, and Beirut-based Arab cinema platform Aflamuna have announced the selection for the fifth edition of their project incubator, bannered the Aflamuna x Cinemed Encounters. It runs within the festival in October and supports Arab filmmakers from across the Middle East. This is the development end of the festival circuit rather than a screening slot: the two organisations select projects, not finished films, and a fifth edition suggests the arrangement has found a rhythm.
