Saudi Airstrikes on Yemen's Oil Facilities, and Houthi Attacks That Keep Coming

PBS NewsHour reports that the Saudi-led coalition launched new airstrikes on oil facilities across Houthi-controlled Yemen, in response to deadly airport attacks in Riyadh. Houthi rebels in Yemen are again targeting Saudi infrastructure and military sites, an escalation PBS says may yet draw in other regional powers. Deutsche Welle describes the same exchange from the Saudi side, reporting that Houthi attacks on airports and energy facilities are putting the kingdom under pressure. Two things sit together here: the coalition is hitting back hard, and the strikes it is answering keep arriving. That combination is what makes the prospect of wider involvement something other than hypothetical.
