OpenAI's Own Guide to Choosing Among the GPT-6 Models
OpenAI has published a guide for startups working with the GPT-6 family. Its advertised contents are a decent checklist of what shipping on a frontier model involves: choosing among the models, tuning how much reasoning effort to spend, improving prompts and skills, coordinating tools, and getting workflows ready for production.
Worth noting who wrote it. This is the lab describing how it wants its models used, which is a different genre from an evaluation showing how well they hold up under those recommendations.
