Nasrin Sotoudeh Wins the Václav Havel Human Rights Prize

The Council of Europe has awarded human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh its Václav Havel human rights prize. Deutsche Welle describes her as a prominent advocate for the rights of women, children and political prisoners.

It is a short citation for a long career, but it puts that work on the record in her name at a European institutional level.
