Montreal Turns Its Cobblestones and Mount Royal Into a Cycling Circuit
For eight days, from Sept. 20 through Sept. 27, Montreal's historic cobblestone streets in the old port and Mount Royal become hundreds of kilometres of racing circuit, as riders from around the globe compete to become the next road cycling world champion. The course is the city itself rather than a purpose-built track, which makes the old port's stones and the mountain's slopes part of the race.
