Lucas Museum co-founder steps down from Olympics board

Just days before the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opens to the public, co-founder Mellody Hobson has stepped down from the board of directors of the Los Angeles Olympics organizing committee, LA28. Hobson indicated that the immense demands of overseeing the museum's opening were too great to manage alongside her Olympic board responsibilities. The museum is set to open after a Friday gala.
