Ireland's Pre-Match Press Conference, and a Boycott Call

The Republic of Ireland's delayed news conference is now scheduled for 14:30 BST, ahead of the Nations League fixture against Israel in Hungary, the BBC reports. Two details give the scheduling note its weight: the fixture is being played in Hungary rather than in Israel, and the pressure surrounding it is political as much as sporting.
