Four Requirements AWS Puts on Agent Memory

Before calling something agent memory, AWS says it has to deliver semantic retrieval, rich metadata, strong consistency and elastic scale. The company says Amazon S3 Vectors, a capability within Amazon S3, meets those architectural requirements, and the new post moves from that architecture to implementation. The list is the useful part for anyone building agents, because it separates storing text from retrieving the right text reliably, with enough structure attached to filter on. Read it as a vendor's own checklist for its own service, not an independent evaluation.
