Cinetic Media has launched Vertical Leap, an investment vehicle and producing pathway for professional athletes. John Sloss's company describes it as giving athletes a working seat inside Cinetic's slate: access to rough cuts, creative input, and the same industry guidance the company provides the filmmakers behind its most successful projects. Most athlete-and-Hollywood pairings amount to a name on a poster; a rough-cut pass is a different kind of invitation.
