Blumhouse Announces an 'Amanda the Adventurer' Adaptation, With MatPat Developing

Blumhouse is diving into another horror video game, announcing an adaptation of Amanda the Adventurer — the 2023 indie puzzle game from DreadXP. On Friday, Jason Blum announced that BlumFest moderator Matthew “MatPat” Patrick is developing the feature. Patrick Ewald, CEO of DreadXP's parent company Epic Pictures, will serve as producer. The pipeline from a small 2023 puzzle game to a Blumhouse feature is now short enough that the announcement itself is the news; what Patrick does with the material is the open question.
