AWS Puts Inference Tuning Inside Your Coding Agent

AWS has introduced aws-ai-ml, a skill delivered through its Agent Toolkit for AWS, which the company says gives coding agents such as Kiro, Claude Code and Codex expertise in inference optimization and benchmarking. By AWS's own description, installing the skill lets an existing agent benchmark endpoints, recommend deployment configurations, compare performance runs, and generate SageMaker Python SDK v3 code. The pitch is that model-serving know-how — which instance family, which container — gets packaged as something an agent can apply instead of something an engineer has to assemble from scratch. That expertise claim is the vendor's, not an independent benchmark result.
