An Iowa Farm Trades Pigs for Mushrooms

The U.S. gets nearly a third of its pork from Iowa. NPR reports that one family there is making the switch from pigs to specialty mushrooms, which the network describes as more sustainable, and is trying to show other pig farmers how it did it. Teaching the neighbours may be the harder half of the project: a new crop is one thing, a new crop with company is another.
