A Toronto Court Hears How $4.5 Million Went to the Self-Described 'Crypto King'

Real estate developer Sacha Singh told a Toronto court he gave Aiden Pleterski more than $4.5 million to trade in foreign exchange and cryptocurrency, CBC reports. Singh's figure is larger than that of any of the 11 investors called so far as Crown witnesses at Pleterski's fraud trial. Whether a verdict ever settles the question, the number does some work on its own: one developer's cheque outweighs the testimony of every other investor the Crown has put on the stand to this point.
