A Thriller Short With a Majority Deaf Cast Has Wrapped Filming

Deadline reports that writer-director Garrett Patten has wrapped filming on Alone, a psychological thriller short he directed and co-wrote with Tiziano Tucci. The cast is a heavy one for a short: BAFTA-nominated actor Millicent Simmonds, of A Quiet Place; Oscar winner Troy Kotsur; Emmy nominee Nyle DiMarco, of Deaf President Now!; and two-time Tony winner Phylicia Rashad, of Creed. Deadline describes the film as featuring a majority deaf cast.
