Last week a bipartisan group of lawmakers unveiled a bill for a 20% federal film incentive, which with bonuses could bring the total rebate to 30%. At the Zurich Summit this weekend, a group of film financiers were asked for their thoughts on the prospects of a US federal film incentive — the mechanism now exists on paper; what it does to the business is the open question.
